MOMMY & ME / TODDLER PROGRAMS
smART Explorers of WNC nurtures budding young artists with our incredible programs magnificently designed for Mommy & Me/Toddler playgroups. These programs are high quality, age appropriate, safe, stimulating and FUN for both child and parent.

smART Explorers artists are trained to actively engage child and parent while encouraging their full participation in art experimentation. We come to your Mommy & Me/Toddler playgroup and conduct programs designed specifically with you and your child in mind.

Programs and materials have all been carefully chosen to help cultivate the parent-child bond and foster the development of your child’s motor skills, social skills and language skills.

Adopt An Animal
Our little artists will learn about chromatography as we make beautiful butterflies! The we will explore natures habitats using our imagination to create our very own animals and the habitats they live in!

Exploration Station
Join us as we explore the world of new art products. In Exploration Station, our littlest artist will use the newest "state of the art" art products to create mighty masterpieces!

Stamp To It
Let’s express our creativity as we use stamping to make artworks based on works by Alfred Jensen, make a zippy painting, and create unique fingerprint critters!

Wonderfully Wild
Join us as our littlest of artist go wonderfully wild! Using dramatic puppet play, we will take an adventure through the world of Maurice Sendak' s classic book "Where the Wild things Are", We will make wild masks from the characters in the book, and make a watercolor monster to take home!

TEEN PROGRAMS
The teen years are the wonder years. Teens are searching for their identity and sense of belonging. smART Explorers of WNC teen programs encourage self expression, build confidence and self-esteem.

Taking graffiti off the walls and onto paper is just the beginning as teens discover the artist within.

SENIORS PROGRAMS
What better way for active seniors to keep their creative juices flowing.
